Helen Lederer To Host 2024 Awards

This year's presenter of the Eastbourne Business Awards will be ... Helen Lederer!!
Helen is a recognised specialist at hosting business awards. She engages finalists with energy and a genuine interest in their success stories. We are delighted that she has agreed to host the Eastbourne Business Awards this year.
Best for her role as "Catriona" in "Absolutely Fabulous", Helen starred alongside Jennifer Saunders for all six series and the movie of the show.
In the early 80's Helen was part of a group of comedians who made their name at London's Comedy store. Members including Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, the late Rik Mayall and Ben Elton.
Helen is known for her wit and humour preforming her own material as a stand-up comedian, she also created the "Girl at the Bar" in the BBC comedy sketch show "Naked Video". She has also starred in numerous theatre productions such as "Educating Rita" & "Having a Ball".
Helen has also made notable appearances in various television shows and is a columnist for Woman & Home. She is currently a guest columnist for i newspaper and "Funny old world" and writes for The Mail on Sunday, The Express and The Daily Telegraph, Helen is also an 'agony aunt' for Woman's Weekly.
Her first novel "Losing It" was nominated for the PG Wodehouse Comedy Literary Prize. She went on to set up her own Comedy Women in Print Prize (CWIP) in 2018 to celebrate women in comedy.
Helen's memoir "Not That I'm Bitter" was published this year- and is receiving 5-star reviews!
